We are here four years ago when we visited the area and liked it then. Our latest visit did not disappoint. A good welcome and the menu was written in Portuguese and English on a blackboard. The food is very hearty, honest and genuine. The prawns were very good as a starter and we then had lamb, broad bean and sausage stew and octopus as main courses. Friendly and attentive staff, but the restaurant is very dirty, everything is greasy. Dirty soil has been chopped despite recently. Alheira, I preach my children hard. My daughter kept the meat in her mouth, the turns and threw it away. It won't be back. View all feedback.

Great menu of Portuguese food. Very reasonable prices, very good quality and service. Lovely eating outside at lunchtime. Very popular. Worth the trip!
