"We wandered in pausa and were thrilled by the workers and the tapas were very good. beautiful goat cheese salad, spicy potato and good juicy garnel. first class. I took a star off because he was packed quite tightly."

"If you like feeling welcome when you're away from home ...... this is the place to be ! So welcoming, so clean, such great service and honest local food with some international dishes. If you want gourmet food go elswhere but value for money and...integrity of service and product ... then its here in abundance.... Watch out for the owners tricks .... purely with customers he knows.... so don't fret , you're in for a nice treat. For some maybe at peak times a little noisy.... but hyou have to admire the fact that everyone is made welcome, very welcome. Anot of caution ....I would avoid coming here on a Sunday .... it's closed for a well earned day off...."

"The traditional black and clam dish was delicious. it was covered with diceed kartoffels and was enough for both of us. the strawberry/chocolate “wood leg” was also delicious. a bottle of the house wine was and went well with the meal."

"Our son was missing pasta after several days of tasty Portuguese cuisine so we reserved here. The menu, including craft beer seemed to warrant the good reviews. Just lovely food and friendly service. Our waiter was really helpful and spoke great English. We had very fine starters cheese and ham etc but the star was the pasta. My wife and I had ravioli mine octopus, hers prawn both so tasty and fresh. Our son is autistic and likes simple garlic bread and pasta with no parmesan we requested but his cane with lots if cheese. We tried to suggest he mix it in, but with no complaint the restaurant cooked a new plate up in less than 10 min. Happy son. Less stressed parents. Really lovely place. It was our last night in Tavera else we would return. The pizza looked great too with some rich options. Both craft beer tried very good. Highly recommended."

"We had a nice evening at Punjab Palace. The restaurant is located in a narrow alley where you can sit outside in a nice atmosphere. The food was very tasty and varied. From sweet to spicy everything was there. The staff was super friendly. We felt very comfortable the whole evening. On the next Portugal vacation we will certainly visit the restaurant again."
