"Looks can be deceiving but this cafe is amazing. It may not look like much from the outside but this cafe is the best in the area. So be aware it gets busy as all the locals know how great it is. The food is amazing and the staff friendly and professional. It is well priced and the food is fabulous quality. Its a dog friendly cafe too. It overlooks the beach and is a lovely place to start your weekend. Highly recommend!"

"Second visit to Penny's Hill and was a bit disappointed at our visit. Firstly our order was taken wrong for the entree, we were given an entree that we didn't order. However we didn't tell the waiter since we were hungry by then couldn't be bothered changing it. Our bill was calculated wrong at end of the meal, it seemed like the they charged us the entree that never made it to the table as well as the wrong order. It was my fiance that went up to pay and I didn't check the receipt till we drove half way back to Adelaide. It wasn't a particularly cheap meal, so was disappointed at the service. The entrees were good, mains were average and the 2 desserts we ordered was a joke, did not live up our expectation. A bit embarrased as we took our parents visiting from NZ for this meal. Don't think we will be back again."
