"We had the weekly 3 course set menu and it was an absolutely mind blowing dining experience. I have been telling all my foodie friends and then some. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is impeccable. What a treat! "Excellent chocolate beautiful location very limited parking , a little pricey. After buying one of there many many kinds of chocolate you can walk along the street with places to sit and beautiful views of the arch and the marsh. Very limited street parking nearby although possibly more below the high wall below which has a staircase. Can choose everything from milk chocolate to ultra dark chocolate. Very upscale and a little pricey."

"Went here last night, got informed there was no liver or chilli before we ordered, we ordered 3 fillets steaks and fish and chips for mains I had mushrooms to start, waited over 30 minutes for starters, table opposite us got theirs before I got mine they despite them coming in 20 minutes after. Mushrooms were delicious. Got told no steaks, so we ordered another 2 fish and chips and a burger. 2 fish were fine my batter was really soggy on the bottom, the burger was really dry and bland like it was pre cooked and reheated. Table service was fine, but for me a big foodie, the food was not up to it, great pub with a good atmosphere, the food just lets it down. Needless to say I will not be going back for a meal there again. This is the 2nd time I've gone for a meal there to which they didn't have things on the menu that I wanted. Shame, such a nice place too. Parking: Ample parking for about 20 cars if people park correctly, so space on the road with no yellow lines Kid-friendliness: Outside garden for kids in the summertime"

"It is a couple of years since we visited this pretty pub.We met up here with friends today for a long overdue catchup. A beautiful hot sunny day and we sat in the pretty gardens in the welcome shade of the many trees. The service was polite and slick, our food an absolute delight. The food was hot and beautifully presented and delicious . We shall return again soon."

"What a disappointment, we drove passed and decided to sit and dine, from the beginning the service was shocking, no drink orders taken for 15 minutes and 20 minutes before any food order was taken, after asking 3 times, was strange as there were only 3 tables that were taken at the time, even the young gentleman who kept passing up and down in between tables, his communication was terrible, all the chicken tikka starter was rubbery and cold and had to be sent back and the mains lacked flavour and were warm, like that had been sitting on the side for some time, it says it all when the best part of the meal was the garlic naan even that was bang average we decided to inform the “manager/owner” of the unpleasant meal and he just laughed it off and said there were very busy!"
