We frequent Kowaliga Restaurant when we go to our lake house on Lake Martin partly because it is one of the only close restaurants nearby.

Not bad for getting something to eat while on the water The view is where it is at though Staff seem rotate a lot so service can be inconsistent.

This restaurant is on Lake Martin near the Kowaliga bridge and Kowaliga MarinaFor years, it was called Sinclair's.

"First time eating here and my dad and I really enjoyed it. Very courteous staff. We ordered corn nuggets and fried cheese balls as an appetizer. Very good! It was nice to try someplace different. We will be back!"

"Went for dinner and tried the T-Bone steak special. Servers were very friendly and the owner also appeared to take an interest. The sides were just ok (fried items were far too salty and green beans were far too soggy). Likewise, the steak was fine (somewhere between ok and good), reasonably tasty but a little on the tough side. My guess is they use USDA Choice meat, not Prime and this quality of meat requires more marination, but that takes time. It's good for the price (only $21 for a steak and two sides) but I'd be willing to pay more for better quality and taste. Parking: Easy parking outside. Lots of spots."

"Small chicken for the price. You can barely get through on the phone, I went inside phone was off the hook. Contacted the manager he left me a rude message on FB and didn't offer to fix the problem... When he offered to fix the problem with another plate for free with the person I was with the same night."
