Applebee's Grill - Alexandria

I was running late for a birthday party and as soon as I arrived, I placed a drink and food order. Everything went well during my meal, but when it came time to pay, there was some confusion with the other guests. The food was tasty and the service was okay, but not outstanding.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic! The service is very friendly and attentive. It seems like there was a mix-up in the kitchen during lunch as one of our children's meals was prepared before the other. However, the manager quickly resolved the issue without us having to ask, and even comped her meal. I'll have to try the dessert to see if I'm completely satisfied.

It took 15 minutes for our server to take our drink order. The waitress was polite, but it took about 30 minutes to receive our food, which was tasty. Overall, the experience was okay. I would give it 3 stars because we were not greeted at the door by a hostess as we should have been, and we were unsure who our server was.

The service was excellent and the food was promptly served and of high quality, despite it being a busy night with many graduations in the area!

I really enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant and the food is amazing!
