I was hesitant on this place w/ a 4.0 rating. What they do great is the seasoning and have an excellent jalapeño green sauce. I ordered the 1/2 chicken w/ double chicken fried rice for $16.00. I really love Capital Chicken, my man and I eat here frequently but up until tonight idk if I'll feel the same about this place. I ordered a steak burrito usually they're soo good, tonight it had the longest hair all up in it. I immediately lost my appetite, called the place to let them know so that it hopefully doesn't happen again. "One of my favorite light-lunchboxes in dc. they have in the ground themselves rice, nudel and or salat bowl with a southeast Asian flair. A.k.a dressings are more fish sauce and acid-based, which is delicious and refreshing, but still tasteful. when I first visited, I think it was one of the owners who worked the front so that there was a little more love in the salat than my new visit, but the employee helped me this time was still very friendly. the chicken salad is always a winner and they can choose how sharp they want it. they also have a series of vegan dressings and various protein options or even a kicherbsen curry when they look different. the star of my visit was this time the buttersemolina cake. this cache was so soft and creamy with a warm fat syrup, and the nuts and light texture of the smolina really works in this cake. an extremely decadent way to finish and otherwise light meal"
