What University of Louisiana Alumnus likes about Diamond Grill:
11/12/21 Approx. 8 A.M. This was the first time I tried this restaurant. Also, it was the first place I was introduced to lamb chops (YUMMY)! Chris our waiter was very hospitable. THE crab cake mixture was a tad bit on the salty side. The broccoli cheese soup was flavorful, but it was brought out cold. The grilled redfish was very delicious. Too bad they don't think of making sauce picante dishes--their sauces are pretty good. Tasted the creme brulée and beignets. The beignets are like grand biscuits with layers--they do not make them the original way. I would pass on the beignets unless you want a version of what a Pillsbury Grand biscuit type of beignet. I ordered a Pink Saphire: it was a good cocktail drink. One-and-Done.
What Tomasa Christiansen doesn't like about Diamond Grill:
Atmosphere was great. But wasn't impressed by the food. Eating at other fine establishments I get what I pay for. What spent didn't match what I received. Service was average View all feedback.
