The front Porch/Evening Star Cafe is a beautiful area. The terrace extends behind the building, so there are plenty of seating. Our order was placed and paid via our phones (no servers take physical orders), which was quite cool. The drinks and food came out immediately after the order. The food was not excellent, but solid. Great location in the heart of Del Ray. Some good wines. Hit and miss food. I'm writing the review because of a salad we ordered with chicken as the protein. The chicken on this salad looked like a crostini. It had been cooked, microwave and doused with gamma rays. See pic. Come on, Front Porch.
