Went there today for the first time in a long time. Wow. I will admit, not the cheapest but the food was lovely. Well cooked, presented beautifully; no long wait time. Friendly clean staff. What Caz R doesn't like about Gardener's Retreat:
Whilst the Lady serving was happy, cheerful, the scones were awful. So dry that they just crumbled. We could not eat. Tried with a teaspoon to eat it. The flavour was wrong as well, fruit inside there was 4 sultanas lol. Tea , your pot is so small that it only does just over one small cup. Asked for additional water. Coffee was very bitter.
