The Cookhouse Saloon from Algonquin Highlands is the perfect place if you want to try delicious American meals like burgers or barbecue, In addition, the current games or races can be watched on the big screen in this sports bar, which the guests also love. I nearly feel bad giving a single star because it made for such a wild story _A group of five of us went in for brunch on a Sunday.

This place was awfulWe literally waited for 30 -40 minutes to get food and the wings i got smelled like a rotten fish.

"For a birthday dinner alone (Because I wanted a quiet dinner after 24 km) 25. May wasn't even recognizing what I said. I was quickly served when I was a single to pull me out. My portions were half of the other tables. Scallops obviously cut in half, salad was half the size. ordered the trio main and was also half the size of the other tables. They just let me wait half an hour for the head because I asked that I digest the salad and scallops a few minutes. A man in a green button below made me feel uncomfortable when they stared at me behind the pavilion where the staff came out, not sure who he was, but came out twice to do it. When the bill came, the waitress (Linda) was rude. I didn't expect anything free, just a nice evening that was completely ruined. I didn't complain because Linda might have a bad night. Leave a 20% tip not a happy birthday or even a smile. I don't even recommend going there. The food was ok, but it lacked flavor profile and deep drizzling Balsamico vinegar on a salad is not a dressing the beets were not marinated on all Scallops Bacon Jam is weak without real aroma profile. The main was actually ok, but part was so small in half compared to the two orders Linda went with earlier. Good about price in my opinion and service unfortunately"
