"This is my favourite restaurant , in the top segment in competa. Detail to service, price and of course quality. From the minute you walk in your welcomed with a smile. Have a drink at the bar before you sit down, no rushing around here. Top quality ingredients, prices as I said, it’s in the slightly higher segment, you only get what you pay for. Service is excellent, prices are ok. Expect to pay around €100 per couple, this will get you a great three course meal, withhold course your drinks as well, it’s just a guide."

"We were a group of walkers, cold and damp having walked along the old Periana-Zafarraya railway line when we came across the bar and decided coffee-time The lady behind the bar was totally in control and soon we all had our drinks. Lunch was...being prepared and we couldn't resist a tapas or two.....the bacalao was excellent! We didn't relish the thought of going out in the rain to eat our sandwiches and we were very kindly allowed to use the large covered entrance area as our picnic area which was really appreciated. A few glasses of wine and a couple of plates of chips were ordered to fill us up before the walk back to Periana. We paid the bill....very cheap (tapas only and on leaving the lady behind the bar ran after one of the group to say she had overcharged us by and tried to give it back!! Needless to say we declined the change!! Great service and good food served in a traditional Spanish bar.....what more could you ask for!"
