"We have wanted to visit Aliano for some time, and we're delighted to see how tastefully the small town has commemorated it's link to Carlo Levi. This restaurant was recommended and it did not disappoint. It has a set menu for €20 pp and the food was delicious. A varied selection of antipasti, the highlight being courgette flowers in a tempura coating. Followed by orecchiette with porcini and cinghiale, and roast lamb cutlets. Wonderful. Water and a fine, deep rubino red wine were served and we finished with fruit, coffee and an amaro. Excellent authentic local flavours, and really good value."

"A great dining experience from all aspects. The food is great in a very friendly atmosphere. When we vacation in the Basilicata region I make sure to stop at this great dining spot. The price is very reasonable you will always be satisfied with the portions. The course are served style and elegance but always delicious. We ended up eating here three nights in a row. Ambiance: cozy, warm friendly. Vaulted brick and wood beam ceilings and big spacious dining room. No loud music or bright lights just quiet conversations with friends. Service: attentive without being intrusive. Will always come back."
