my family loves this place, but I will say we have a better experience eating in, so I would recommend that over the drive thru. the problems that we put in the drive thru are that they waaay too much ice in the drinks (they will feel robbed) and the containers steam the fry until they are wounded. neither these things are problems when eating and the chicken tsartes are the best close. What User doesn't like about Layne's Of College Station:
the first time I ate laynes was pretty good! I enjoyed her spicy chicken breeders. but the second time I tried laynes here was told that they did not have any sharp offers and whenever I had no choice to get regular offers, I was given very dried bun. there was hardly a haw in my actually offered: more teig then huh and again, very small, sad and dry chicken pliers 5 pieces) were given to me for the price of $12. los... My sons asked for Canes for Super Bowl dinner, I decided to try Layne’s in Allen. I have been to the original one in College Station. This one is great, Blake is very friendly and interesting. The food is ready very fast and tasty! Ovoid gives me small-business family feeling.
Visited 12.13.20 First time to a Layne's Chicken Fingers. Great taste! Could argue better than Caine's, but close. Sauce is almost identical to Caine's and Guthrie's. Sweet tea is very good.
I decided to stop by and try this place on my way back from work and boy am i glad , I got the 5 fingers meal and It was so good I ate everything in the container and nearly ate the container , seriously though , so glad i stopped by. Food was fresh and hot , toast was heavenly , fries were on point, and the house sauce is out of this world and they put 2 in there which was more than enough. Overall a great experience! Keep up the good work!
This is our favorite go-to place for a quick bite and smiling faces. The employees are always friendly and cheerful, something that is so hard to find in fast casual restaurants these days. The fresh chicken fingers can’t be beat and their milk shakes are amazing too!
The director over the stores in Allen Frisco is really nice and has even sat down and chatted with me for a few minutes at my table. As far as the food, it is better than Cane’s foam cups so the drinks don’t leak, better toast good ranch! I don’t love crinkle fries, I prefer crispy, but that’s just personal preference. PS if you don’t think the store is enforcing the “masks” to your liking then DON’T GO there. Stop complaining tattling and telling them how to run their business the staff here does a good job and if you don’t like that then get out and go somewhere else and mind your own business!
