we stopped a visit here on the way to allonby by silloth. we just wanted a part of chips and it wasn't very busy. we waited for 30 minutes longer than I ever had to wait in any chippy. when the chips had finally come, they were not hot, no salt or edgy offered and they forgot our drinks.
