"My first stop on the island every time I'm here. A very friendly and welcoming place. You can walk in here and end up chatting to anyone; locals and visitors from afar. The atmosphere is very relaxed, almost like being at home. Great food and...lots of interesting artefacts from ship wrecks on display. Catriona and the staff are wonderful people."

"Me and my wife ate in and had the set meal for 2, and it was amazing. The starter platter was very generous with dough balls, garlic mushrooms, mozzarella sticks, bbq chicken wings, and dip. The delicious 14-inch pizza, which was made from scratch, lived up to its name and was cooked to perfection. Very good food overall and a bargain at £25. "We had one of the best meals on our 2 week tour of the country in Thirty Nine Restaurant. The food was just excellent wonderful flavours and well presented. I had fish for starter and main and both dishes were fresh and so tasty. Our waitress (the owner, her husband is the head chef) was warm and attentive. We only discovered on the day that this is a bring your own bottle restaurant, with a very reasonable corkage. The interior is modern and crisp but warm and it was spotless we saw the owner bleaching the toilets at least every hour. A great family restaurant in a central location. Highly recommended."

"Booked on the day as we were only staying overnight. Atmosphere and welcome really great. The restaurant is compact and feels quite homely. We were a party of 5(all staying in Ballycastle for 1st time 3 from England) We all had starters and mains and all were to a high standard with generous portions. I had baked lemon sole on the bone and it was amazing one of the best I've ever had. The service was attentive without being overbearing and the price was a very pleasant surprise. I cannot thank them enough a great night had by all and a promise to return one day. A hidden jewel"

"A wonderful location by the amazing Waterfall Park in Glenarriff. The staff were lovely and the food was good and beautifully presented. We were awkward and asked for modifciations to the menu which they were happy to make. Although the menu only mentions one vegetarian dish, they offered three others when asked. the place was busy but the staff were warm and considerate."

"Probably the best restaurant on the North Coast. Great quality food and the most pleasant, attentive and polite waiting staff (congratulations to the delightfully well-mannered waitresses, who clearly take a pride in offering hospitality). Amongst a wide range of dining options, Tartine has quickly become our 'go to ' of choice. A gracious and accommodating manager keeps a watchful eye that the highest standards are being maintained. We enjoyed another fabulous Sunday lunch with good friends, seated beside a warming log fire. Thank you, Tartine, for helping to create another memorable occasion. And, of course, compliments to the chef(s)! We will be back."

"Have visited a few times for lunch and dinner and have really enjoyed it. The staff have always been super helpful, the foods been great and the vegetarian selection has been a lovely change from the norm. The layout is lovely, open and airy. I'll definitly be eatting here again"
