The food was very good, although due to lack of staff no starters were being served they had ran out of fish pie. The pastry on the beef pie was lovely and the meat was very tender. It may have been a better idea to put the sauce that came with the steak in a jug. I would go back despite the above points. View all feedback.

A cute little pub with the best front of house staff we’ve met in a while! Besides the amazing and genuinely friendly service, the food was great! All classic pub dishes to warm the soul and body.
One of the best traditional pubs in Keswick. Warm, cosy (real fire) atmosphere and really efficient and friendly staff. Food is super yummy, with generous portions and good prices.
Fabulous call for sunday roasts and we were not disappointed by Saturday night. unusually large selection for the non-meat egg even if they are veggie, please enter this small pub. they will not be disappointed.
