"Great lovely and very cozy cafe and art store. Here you get the most delicious homemade dishes made of local ingredients. Highly recommend both the buffet and their super delicious raspberries trifli. The view of the harbour is beautiful and atmospheric. A piece of unique Bornholm."

"Wonderful hotel with a fantastic location. Rooms were lovely, hotel beautifully decorated, attentive staff and not to forget a really great breakfast! We had been looking forward to eating in the restaurant, but left very dissapointed. Price and quality just didn’t come together. Food wasn’t well-composed (textures and flavors) and for approx. 550DKK for 3 courses, we would have expected more. Sadly, the restaurant will not be a first choice next time we visit Melsted."

"We are Australian and visited this restaurant with Danish friends. It was the worst dining experience of our lives, avoid at all costs!!! The waiter/owner? Was abrupt and rude and the food awful. Our Danish friends on complaining about dried up meat had their plates snatched from them with a declaration ‘you can get something from the buffet instead’ This was declined as the buffet food looked awful. On suggesting to the waiter/owner this was not the way to treat guests he exploded telling us al to F... Off from his restaurant and that he didn’t want our money. Maybe he was having a bad day but no excuse. Eat here at your peril. John (Australia)"

"Very smooth experience. The restaurant reminded more like a cafeterie because you order at a desk which you also pick up and when you are done, you clear yourself. The star was in the dull end, very conditional goods i.e. white French bread and a piece of rye bread from Schulstad not that something in the way with it, but bake rye bread had enough been to prefer. The Shrimp and the fish file draw up while the white fish tasted by having stood in the fridge for some days. Asparges was from glass and tomatoes did not taste quite much. The price of DKK 169 is at the expensive end of a star shot."
