I was able to enjoy the best boiled meat salad ever. Very fine and delicate. Except there could have been a little more salad on the plate. But great! Service very friendly and professional. A wonderful place to escape the city heat. Always my pleasure! View all feedback.

Cordon Bleu was inedible. When we returned it, the boss personally reprimanded us and knocked on the table. Then it went further. It is not a problem that a dish is not edible. But such unfriendly and even aggressive treatment is not possible. View all feedback.

Very nice staff, cozy atmosphere, recommended
We were totally blown away because from the outside it looks quite ordinary, but inside it's a very clean, bright and spacious restaurant with a warm atmosphere more suited to an Alpine village. The food is fantastic and the service is quick and attentive by a team of very experienced staff who make excellent hosts. Even though it was very busy at lunchtime over Easter weekend, the staff were very friendly, professional and warm. It's an excellent place which is well worth the journey. A hidden gem in Basel.
