"This probably wasn't a good evening to visit the location, but we went as we had received recommendations from local people. Service was slow, mainly because the place was hosting a political event with press and television. Food selection is extensive, and some dishes were very good, while some others were a little below par. I was very happy to have the choice between a fully trimmed strip loin steak and one which still had the bone and some fat."

"Resto/Pizzeria au cœur d'Alma menu varié, spéciaux de semaine et menu régionaux aussi disponible, également bières de micro brasserie locale disponible. Service courtois et rapide. Prix très acceptable et pourquoi visiter des chaînes de restaurations rapides quand on peux visiter et encourager les commerces locals !!!"

"I find that Quebec has a plethora of hometown do-it-all style restaurants that serve breakfast through supper with tons of options at affordable prices. Coco-Rico is a good example of this type of place. I had one of the best Tourtière de Lac St. Jean at this restaurant and the tarte aux bluets was tasty and not too sweet. My wife had a shrimp dish that was decent, but came with a bit too much cheese.Restaurant Coco-Rico is not fancy and doesn't pretend to be. If you want fancy, go somewhere else. If you want to have decent food with locals for a great price, check out this place."
