"I've been coming to this place for many years and I've never had a problem with it. Always have had good food. But the one time that I got sick from there I called them to let them know what happened. I didn't want a free meal. I did not want my money back. I just wanted to inform them that I had gotten sick from there. I know it was from there because I was puking within 4 hours after eating there and I had not eaten anything else during the day. What upsets me is when I called to tell them. They denied it. They said it was not from there. I says yes it was and you guys would not accept it and say sorry. That's all I wanted was an apology that I got sick from your food. Some people will sue you for that kind of stuff. But I won't. I might try you guys again in the future. You guys do have really good food. And I've been coming there for years and I only got sick once. Mistakes happen. I just wish you would apologize to me. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"We were picking someone up so day traveling and got hungry for lunch, we found this place and decided to try it out. Iced tea tasted very odd, so when I asked for something else to drink, I received the biggest eye roll I think I've ever been the recipient of in my life. The whole atmosphere just had like a dull, depressing lull to it. The only thing good was my company that I was keeping in my presence. "Lunch on a Friday at lunch time. One person working the whole place by himself. Hosting, waiting tables, serving, cooking and bussing. He did very well considering but you might want to get some dedicated wait staff so folks don’t wait 45 minutes to get their food. Just sayin. Speaking of food, not all that impressed. I ordered the Ethel Waffle. I’ve never had a waffle with fresh grapes and apple slices. The menu just said seasonal fruit with ice cream. Sounded good to me was thinking compote but no, just sliced fresh fruit. Not even syrup or anything to sweeten it up. At any rate, we tried it and likely will not be back."

"We were traveling north on Michigan 127, saw a sign advertising the restaurant. We drove to the restaurant and are extremely happy we did! The food was delicious and the waitress, Phyllis ,was friendly and efficient! We ordered the chicken pot pie with a side salad, and a chicken salad sandwich. Both servings were large, the presentation on the plates was very nice. That wasn’t the best part, the food was incredible! It was so much better than the average fast food stop. The restaurant actually has s bakery and the choices from cakes, pies, cookies and cinnamon rolls was excellent! I am so happy I was paying attention to the signs on the highway because my stomach was very happy! A special thank you to the Cooks, wait staff and management for having such incredible service and food!"

"Was looking for a quick bite in the area that was open late. Several options but the menu, Reviews and beer list caught my attention. Great burgers! The fries were so crispy and good beer. Truly enjoyed it plus the atmosphere and service was awesome. Will go back next time I’m in the area. Felt like going back in time."
