"Brilliant local cuisine. Loved the Meat, the Croquettes, and everything else we tried.. Been here three times in the last few days, and went to a lot of others for the prior week. Super cheap for the quality and setting."

"The staff were really nice, they let us try the flavors and explained was the menu consisted of. I tried the donut sandwich with salted caramel, it was really good, although both flavors cancel each other out. Definitely will go back to try every other flavor."

"We had a really great experience at Avenew on a quiet Tuesday night. Our hosts were personable and helped make for a memorable evening. We started by splitting the octopus salad. It was wonderful with a glass of a local rose. My wife had the cod with the rose and I had the duck with a really nice red blend. Both of us were quite happy with these (as well as tastes of each other’s main). Dessert with a port was also great. We’ll be happy to come back again!"
