Our hosts suggested we try Bar Izquierdo as it is a favourite haunt of locals. As we were a little early for Spain (just after 8 pm) we were able to find a table inside this small bar relatively easily. Ten minutes later the place was buzzing! It was a stupid weekend: Due to Carnival activities (one week later than in the rest of the World) most places were closed. But the Bar Izquierdo were one of the few exceptions where we could find in the city center which was open after 20:00 hrs. We bought the first night some sandwiches.
