This is a very good chip shop with a large menu. The food is very well prepared and was not greasy at all. The staff are friendly and appear to all work in conjunction with each other like a well oiled machine. View all feedback.

Good all round chippy had a sit in meal scampi was fairly tasteless and very small portion but edible chips were ok served on a paper plate set up to get you in served and out as fast as possible View all feedback.

Had a great fish supper here, staff happy to see you and quick with the order...got homemade tartar sauce with the order, I'm rating it at 9/10. I'll be back

"My hubby and I stayed without booking, but the staff has accommodated us. clean and tastefully decorated. smart presented, friendly and friendly staff. eating was excellent! we had only planned one main course, but ended with three flutes. delicious individual aromas identified in each dish, beautifully presented, perfect portions that were delicious and piping hot. the chefs here have enjoyed it absolutely. the best steak I cost one because I know my steak. exceptional cooking and service. we will return. would definitely recommend to book in advance, as we have only taken it right for one table. a gloomy shadow also in beautiful landscape."

"We went to the north kessock hotel for dinner and had an excellent evening. the hotel had put a lot of time and effort (and money) in it and interior looks fantastic. we sat outside in the large terrace with high quality tables and chairs and enjoyed the sunshine. great atmosphere with other dinners at the search for dolphins, as hotel view of moray firth. eating was absolutely top-class. I had haggis croquets followed by steak, then sticky toffee pudding. all fantastic! above the standard of a pubs and in any case with very good restaurants that I have "followed. place was busy and we will definitely go back and recommend it to friends. very child-friendly with garden area over terrace and wall between terrace and road, so children are less likely to run out."

"A good, clean honest family run business in Tain. Heather your hostess is great. Bed comfortable, linen clean and fresh, rooms basic but very clean, shower excellent. Food well cooked and a good selection. Breakfast very good to excellent. Value for money 100%! Walls a bit thin, so much so I disturbed my neighbour Becky with my snoring. Sorry Becky! Hope I didn't upset you too much."
