I had a very nice Sunday lunch here today with my boyfriend and family We booked ahead and I'm glad we did, as the place was quite packed by 1 pm.
Having read the reviews here I was somewhat skeptical about a visit to the restaurant for a family meal._We visited for Sunday lunch which runs to £15.50

"I was recommended the Bari Tea Brewery by a friend and was not disappointed. The range of teas on offer was vast with many interesting flavours! I had the green ginger tea with a scone which was freshly baked and was very tasty! Service was very good and all the staff very friendly."

"This pub is definitely a go to when visiting the area and is a great find. The staff are very welcoming and friendly too. The food is also gorgeous as well as plentiful (the homemade chips are amazing) and we did manage to squeeze room in for dessert which was equally as nice! Would definitely recommend."

"We originally went to another pub on the street for a Sunday roast after we had closed alnwick and visited gardens. the first were not lunch, but asked for recommendations and they mentioned the black swan. I'm so glad they didn't serve when we missed this wonderful place. service was friendly and efficient. the food was well cooked, very tasty and beautifully presented. the place itself is very deceived from the outside, as you are inside like a tardis. it has a great atmosphere and manages to combine landdorf with contemporary style. really could not mistake the place and will definitely be back and recommend to friends"
