This BBQ is our favorite in Texas! The hotel is located on the west side of the Alps, surrounded by the desert and observed by the mountains. The smokey taste is perfect and the spices improve every cut and any kind of meat. I had the normal sausage, the pulled pig, the ribs and the chicken. All cooked for perfection. My husband and I come all the way from El Paso, Texas to Alpine and discovered this delicious jewel on one of our weekends there. I wish I could give 5 stars, but it was extremely disappointing to travel to Alpine for a weekend to discover that they no longer serve on Saturday lunch. The hours are so uncomfortable.
