We read in a magazine that Altamura had the world’s best bread. While in Italy we made it a quest to go to Altamura and find this bread called Pane di Altamura. We found a loaf at a busy bakery in the city center, iFantasie del Grano. The bread has a crispy thick crust which keeps it fresh longer and soft light yellow inside.
