We love El Mezcal! Absolutely the best and most authentic Mexican restaurant east of STL! We were welcomed by friendly and friendly staff from the moment we entered the building. They let us sit quickly and serve our chips and drinks. They kept our glasses and chip/salsa filled. Our food was cooked to perfection, hot and timely. Huge portions! "Made by Lia is such a gem. Every time I go in to grab something I get such a nice, cozy feeling because of the inviting space Lia and her staff have created. Everything they bake is phenomenal. I recently was able to try the coffee macaron and it was the best macaron I’ve ever had. I’m normally not a huge macaron fan but this one converted me! The oatmeal cream pies are a favorite as well. If you haven’t been, you must go!"
