"I was in this caffe twice and I enjoy the experience. the owner is very friendly, polite and helpful. he always checks if u need something when eating is in order and even if eating lasts longer, he will...inform and see if it is acceptable for u a. at night I have a bacalhau à brás, that was amazing and the part was also great, I couldn't eat a desert, but I took it to the hotel. it was a traditional cake of algarve. astonishing. second night I came there only for the açaí and I can say it was one of the best açaís I eat outside of brasil. the prices are also good"

"Dinner for 6 here last night -and the food was superb, Salmon, Tuna chicken Piri piri all cooked to perfection. The vegetables were crisp and fresh and full of flavour. The restaurant, built into what is reputed to be one of the oldest houses...in Alvor, is very traditional and always busy . The staff are attentive and friendly and seem to care very much that you enjoy the food….. highly recommended!"
