Forgot about this place until now , went 2 x for breakfast 1st visit-.6 years ago.. 1st visit , crowded Saturday am sat at table for breakfast, was ok. Food ok- didn't think anything wrong. 2nd visit 5 years ago for breakfast during a week day morning- Not many people there. Seemed only about 4 regulars . Small Cafe on mountain pass, open in the middle of January! Wow, did we need food and Super WOW , did they deliver. Chicken fried steak and double chicken fried steak. Wonderful atmosphere and super nice family staff. Driving by, make sure to stop!

I suppose she thought we would be in agreement with her because we were white. Quickly finished breakfast got the hell out of there. Never returned.
If you're looking for reasonably priced diner food, it's perfect.
Nice fireplace during the winter. Love the large variety menu. Nice service.
