Lovely Sunday roast, very filling and got loads for what you pay for. Lovely little building and put us out the way with the dogs even tho it wasn’t too busy. Lovely band on too which the dogs enjoyed View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Flying Fleece:
service is great. it's a bit crazy in vacation time, but the staff is good. opentable booking works well. - where isn't ambleside? the toilets leave the place down, they are grim. View all feedback.
I had one. pleasant size part, arrived in a fair time after the order. the pub was cozy with the fire. will definitely return.

There were 3 different menus with food and cocktails were not listed on the drink menu, just on the board next to the bar. Staff did not draw our attention to the different food menus and offers and we both ended up with food we didn't enjoy. Poor choice of vegetarian dishes.
Great service and although quiet on a Friday evening the atmosphere was great. Allesandrou was extra helpful with helping my wife’s gran up a few stairs. Erdinger on draft is also great!
Always an enjoyable evening at the Flying Fleece. Great food (Sunday roast is to die for) service and atmosphere are excellent. Live music from the amazing Fiona on a Sunday evening makes this a place not to be missed.
