"There is much to like when you arrive at this pretty garden restaurant. The gentleman who served us was extremely nice and the service was excellent. My husband is vegetarian and we come across the same problem across the whole of France. French cuisine is not designed for vegetarians or vegans. Whilst the vegetables were wonderfully prepared, there was no understanding that vegetarians need protein. This comes in so many forms pulses and grains that are readily available across France eg Lentils, quinoa or chick peas. I hope that this lovely restaurant might be able to consider this when designing their menu in future. The meat and fish were delicious."

"My wife and I booked, by email, to eat at La Bonne Etape on Sunday 26th June. We received the following reply: Bonjour, J'ai pris note de votre réservation. Cordialement. Verrier Myriam. We arrived on Sunday evening to find that the restaurant was closed and a notice saying they were closed Sunday evenings. Disgusting service."
