We were in Georgia visiting my in-laws and they brought us here. Absolutely the best service! Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The fajita chicken quesadilla was the best I've ever had. And the Margaritas were delicious as well. Definitely 10/10 experience. View all feedback.
What Dana Alexandra doesn't like about The 1800 Mexican:
Food was mediocre at best guacamole was just chunks of avocado in a dish. Steak served with the fajitas was so overcooked of poor quality that it was nearly impossible to chew (just rubbery and gross). Chicken was seasoned well and tasted fine. Shrimp tasted like previously frozen stuff you can get from Walmart. Price points don’t match the quality of food. Staff were super friendly and the historic building it’s loc... View all feedback.

They had problems serving large groups and confusion with our orders. We attended their restaurant at the busiest time.
The atmosphere is good, the service was mediocre, and the food was not great. I ordered a chili relleno..... that came on a cold boiled bell pepper, a burrito that was ok, and a chalupa that was more a nacho salad than a chalupa. All food was served slightly above body temp including the cheese dip. I subbed out the beef for a dry shredded chicken and ultimately was concerned that the obviously precooked held for service chicken may not be stored right. Wish I had ordered the tex-mex instead of the Mexican dishes. Second chance on mothers day 2023 the beef was scorched on my tacos, again the food was luke warm and mine high was just tacos and cheese quesadillas came 10 min later than the rest of my table(who's orders were more complicated) pretty sure I saw it walk by and get served to the wrong table. So tacos were gross but the quesadillas were worse with cheese that wasn't melted and tortilla that wasn't toasted. How is a Mexican restaurant that can't do tacos and quesadillas right still in business
Food is always great, service is always good and when there is a problem, they make it right. The restaurant is a little to loud for me but other people seemed to love it.
