The service was impeccable, the environment was warm and welcoming and the food was spectacular. Kid-friendliness: The children in our party were comfortable and had a great time. Really really hate to have to do this because the Barking Dog used to be one of our go to places in Amesbury for a great hearty meal, good service and a cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately that was not the case recently. The music was way too loud and unsettling.
