Update: a year later and I think it was the best food I ever had in the last 10-20 years! Really a 5 star food. We had lobsters and shrimps Risotto and both were amazing. Quality is the best I had in months! What an amazing find. My meal had 7(! different vegetables in it. Wow! I ordered a large part and it was too much food for me, should have gone with a small (regular part). We paid a little less than $60 for both... View all feedback.
What Josh N'ya doesn't like about Phat Cats:
Went there twice, 1st time was fine, the 2nd time fish tacos were gross with over-cooked tough chewy fish and just huge chunks of plain cabbage inside inside soggy corn tortilla. Was really pretty bad View all feedback.
The best bistro in the area! Always top notch dinning and many flavorful foods. The folks that run the restaurant are super friendly!
Delicious, home environment. Amazing alternating specials menu. Best place to stop and try in the MA area.
First time here and will certainly be back. Food was phenomenal, great atmosphere our bartender was fabulous.
My wife and I moved to Amesbury over 5yrs ago and we just had our first experience at phat cat bistro. Honestly we wrote it off based on the store front then spoke with some people who raved about their food, so we decided to come in for dinner…..the food, service, and atmosphere is wonderful! It is devastating that it took us so long to come in! We will now be regulars!
Can't of wrong with Phat Cats. The food is ways delicious. Staff is super friendly. I have been going here for years and the meals are always great.
