We had dinner here on recommendation of the nearby Capri Inn motel.Seeing the huge meals served to other patrons, we opted to share a small steak and share a Greek salad. Drinks were reasonably priced The meal arrived with the steak and fries on a large plate and the staff had thoughtfully divided the Greek salad into two bowls. The waitress was attentive and polite. What JoanD doesn't like about Jack Astor's - St Catharines:
Server was great and attentive, the food was ok, the portions were very small for the price we paid. Example Chicken Salad boating Arugula and Quinoa, there was barely any Arugula or Quinoa and the chicken was so thin and charred. That was my husbands. The appies were 2 small tacos with not alot of filling for $15.00. The Chicken salads were $26 and $29 all in the bill was $95 plus 15% for tip. NOT good value at all.... View all feedback.
We had an excellent meal tonight. the food was fresh and delicious. we ordered the Steak-Fajitas, and my man is the stem. our server was very friendly and prompt. she never let us wait. they work together as a team. special doses to the manager. that my fajitas has made available for free. due to a very low delay. this kind of care of their customers rarely happens. highly recommended
Jack astors always seems to be good. I suggest you get the garlic bread when they have it. delicious!
Britan was our server and was on the spot. we had a nice dinner and will definitely come back. prost!
Service and food were very good. We went for dinner on a Thursday evening at 5:30pm. The restaurant had only a few customers at that time. One table was celebrating a birthday and the staff sang to them and provided a special dessert. I informed the restaurant that it was my husbands 70th birthday when I made the reservations . Unfortunately the same special birthday gathering was not provided at our table. This was actually one of the reasons we had dinner at Jack Astors. Having said this, we will definately go back .
Great meal. Server was very professional thanks to Megan for making our dinner enjoyable.
