Indian Akbar Amsterdam

Me and my boyfriend we’re looking for a place to eat and walking past Akbar’s it didn’t look too great, but after we went inside it was beautiful. The service was outstanding, I asked for a recommendation from the server and he suggested something I’d never had before; King Prawn Jalfrezi. It was lovely, just the right amount of spice and they really catered to the level of heat we said we could handle. My boyfriend loved his food and it’s definitely a place we’ll go back to when we return to Amsterdam. An all round excellent experience and I would really recommend it.

Real Indian cuisine artists. Incredibly tasty food, great service, always a welcome feeling. Price is right for the quality you get. Vindaloo not for the faint hearted
