Ruth's Chris Steak House - Anaheim

Food was amazing as usual. Wait staff was also amazing.

This was the night I proposed to my girlfriend. I made a reservation and gave them a call to confirm. Jordan was brilliant and made arrangements for the surprise. Hector (manager) and Jenna (our personal waitress) are extremely excellent at what they do and always make sure everything is fine. The food was phenomenal. We tried the cowboy ribeye, crab cakes, asparagus, garlic mashed potato and the filet mignon with lobster tail. Each of these were excellent! The crab cakes were filled with crab meat and had no extenders. The steaks were cooked exactly right! The food tasted like heaven! I can’t commend the staff enough for being such hospitable and genuinely nice people! I’d definitely come back here for the food and the experience. The best part is, she said YES!!!

Wife's fillet was terrible. It took a very long time to get another. By then all the side dishes were cold. We were asked about desert. I ordered a cheesecake. Shortly we received a free chocolate cake for our anniversary. Then we got the cheesecake too. It felt like our bill was trying to be maximized. They should have asked if we still wanted the cheesecake and when my Wife finally got her second fillet (I was long done with my steak) they should have seen that and asked if she still wanted it along with fresh hot sides. For close to $400 for two I really expected a fantastic night, sadly not.

Best as always, only waited 5 mins to be seated. Food Awesome.

My family dining Ruth Chris almost every 3-4 months. And the food and service were excellent. Last night the food was cold and I ordered medium, but look like medium well and my son ordered medium rare and seems like medium. Disappointed a lot.
