"With the whole town bustling around you and the heat pouring overhead, the Malabar Cafe besides their sister concern Malabar Village (Old) is like a stolen moment of peace. Of course my definition of peace does include good food. A small air conditioned cafe, with good food and good service. You have a selection of juices, shakes , tea and coffee to quench your thirst. For food, you can order the snacks on display or pick your poison on the menu. The chicken burger is well worth the price of Rs.100. The pasta needs a bit something more. But all the drinks are really good.They also serve the best shawarma in the entire town. The ambiance is unpredictable, you might either be welcomed with slow instrumental music on a very hot afternoon or you enter to the best of tunes as the sun sets. In short its one the very few places in Thodupuzha town were you can just hang out with friends."

"The feeling of not being a patient and being treated with all care is probably the best thing a patient would want. This place is a tad expensive for sure but the treatment and the experience they provide is beyond words. I was treated for a sciatic nerve pinch and was down with severe pain. The doctor diagnosed me accurately and provided me relief in just 2 days. Dr.Arun Oommen is a senior neuro surgeon and probably one of the best in cochin in the department. I was admitted for 2 days and we took the Deluxe room in the new block. The room is more like a hotel room. It’s super clean and everything is at your finger tips. The nurses are very experienced and caring. The food at the hospital is also of a hotel standard . I am glad I chose lakeshore, from the diagnosis to treatment everything is immaculate ."

"I'll visit this place on the way to Ernakulam. the restaurant is located on the highway service road with good parking. the ambiente of the average vegetarian restaurants. they have good breakfast options and lunches are also served with two rice options (white and red) that are also not bad. a good place to bring their family."
