'Rice Bowl ' reborn! Same menu and same awesome wait staff. I don 't know how those ladies do it but they keep track of everything! We went on Prime Rib night (Friday and Saturday only) and all six of us had a steak. My standing order is the 14oz Tenderloin, medium well, butterflied, with a side of horseradish. It came out seared to perfection and tasted sooo good! This place is still my go to place for steak! Everyone at our table agreed! The only caveat is not much parking, but you can park along the street if need be. Thank you and keep up the great food!.
What Gage Stone doesn't like about Rice Garden Anchorage:
We ate here because it was next door to the motel we were staying at and it was really convenient. I wouldn't say that the food was bad at all...it was just okay. Customer service was great, though. View all feedback.
First of all I want to say thank again to thr waitress. She was all alone and busy but did an amazing job. Always thank you to thr people that show up to work. We had walnut shrimp 1st and thrn for a mean I had thr house lo mien and my friend had the cashew shrimp. The food was very good. The best walnut shrimp I have ever had. And call me a noob but I didn't know thr differencebetween chow mine and lo mien till I read this menu. A cute place and fun. Food was warm and I know thr staff were doing their best. Definitely worth checking out. :
Delicious food, friendly service, affordable price, clean. My husband are from Sacramento, CA and we were adamant to go in but we tried because we were starving. Quite not presentable from outside but that impression changed once we got inside.
Good again tonight. BBQ Pork; chicken with cashew nut Shrimp with vegatables they happily make with chicken or shrimp Sweet and sour shrimp great flavors but maybe the shrimp were wrapped in a little too much breading tonight
Love, Love, Love this place! They have the best steaks in Anchorage. I was so worried I'd never have a Rice Bowl steak again! Thank goodness they just changed the name moved down by Merrill Field.
My gosh, this is a hidden jewel in Anchorage that many don't know about!
