"What can I say, the Auberge du chateau was a needed arrival in Loudenville and boy did it deliver. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming with an open fire on which meat in often cooked in front of you. The food is brilliant mountain grub with a protein packed menu that also caters to vegetarians, a feature not often seen in this part of france."

Il n'y avait personne à notre arrivée (mais des habitués sont arrivés ensuite) et nous avons été reçus avec beaucoup de gentillesse par la patronne, Patou. Elle a accepté sans problème les changements demandés dans la composition de nos pizzas. Les pizzas ont été rapidement servies. On mange dans la salle à côté, certes dans la boîte en carton, mais le lieu est très propre et pratique (sur la route de Lannemezan). Compter 8 à 9 euros la grande pizza (29 cm). Très bon rapport qualité-prix."
