In Anderson, there is a longstanding debate over which restaurant serves the best pizza, Pizza King or Art's. This debate has been ongoing for over 50 years. The reality is that both establishments offer delicious pizzas, albeit with distinct flavors. Personally, I prefer Art's slightly more. What DKPuck doesn't like about Art's Pizza:
The pizza was delicious and the service was great, but the restaurant was very dirty. Tables were not being cleared, so dishes were left out long after customers had left. Even tables without dishes were not wiped down, and it seemed like the floor hadn't been cleaned in weeks. View all feedback.
Eat was hot and delicious! only one server and she didn't come back to us until she brought our neck. we didn't get any refill on our drinks.
I'll wait for it. bacj here for years. the sub will always be worth waiting. perfection.
Great pizza reminiscencent of Tu Your Door Pizza from the 60s! Loved it good price.
I’m from Texas, when I visit family here in the Anderson area I make sure to visit Art’s. I had my first taste of Art’s pizza at around 13 years old, I’m 48 now. There is no better pizza pie. Art’s is pizza perfection. My family thinks I drove 1200 miles to see them. I drove 1200 miles to have Art’s pizza.
Tonight I got the worst pizza I've ever had. 1 slice was crust only 3 slices were sauce only the rest had maybe half the ingredients that are usually on a pizza. I normally love my Arts pizza. Very disappointed tonight
