"Have wanted to visit for some time and we recently had an opportunity. We visited for breakfast and really enjoyed our visit. I had the 8 item Full English which was great and my wife had pancakes and maple syrup. Her only problem was she didn’t have much maple syrup as I think they were running short. Service was excellent and really friendly. Excellent value for money. We will visit again when the opportunity arises. We mentioned our visit to our daughter who lives in Amesbury and she then went the next day with her husband. She also thought the pancakes were excellent. All in all we would recommend visiting."

"Beautiful homemade, fresh Italian cuisine. we had lunch here and the penne pollo and lasagne were some of the best we could taste everywhere. the coffee is excellent and the prices are incredibly reasonable in view of the quality of food. do not let them deceive the unusual situation in a blocky shopping arcade, that is worth a lunch break."

"Lovely country pub. Plenty of car parking. Staff attentive and food was excellent. Only problem was it was very cold. It was mentioned to a member of staff who lit the log burner. However it smoked so badly initially that the front door had to be opened and a member of staff had to stand with a cushion over the smoke alarm!! It got colder and colder while the door was open but eventually started to warm up. Might be better in the future to light the fire before the customers arrive. Other than that I really enjoyed my meal and will return and recommend."

"Stayed for one night, next time it will be for longer! Highly recommend this hotel. Delicious cream tea on arrival, exquisite 7 course taster menu (8 courses really as we were given an appetizer in the bar), complimentary newspaper of our choice, delivered to our room in the morning. Staff were so lovely and attentive. Can't wait to go back!"

"Brilliant service and friendly staff! Highly recommend! Rachel made our night! Me and my friends went to the hungry horse to watch late night football and enjoy some drinks along with some snack l! Definitely will be making this our local pub! Overall amazing"
