The food is nice, generously portioned, foody enough without being pretentious and best of all no more expensive than an above average pub meal. But we weren't in a hurry!We were there recently to have a 5 course long lunch with interstate visitors.The first 3 courses came out too quick! we hadn't finished the second course when they brought out the third, which was over cooked salmon that had obviously been kept warm waiting to serve. Did not enjoy my experience at all, if not even ruined my experience with great paella! Disclaimer: I went to this place as part of a Sandeman tapas tour.

"We called in most days to pick up supplies for picnic lunches, or to try another kind of delicious bread...my partner became addicted to their pies, and tried most of them..regret he ran out of days to sample them all !Coffee was lovely...as were the cakes that went with them....seems lots of locals meet up there, not just passing trade..always had a lovely buzz...and the staff were delightful ,and very kind and helpful..."
