The French do the bustling covered market so well. This is the Village Pump (literally in olden times) where friends meet and the world is put to rights, with appropriate gallic hand signals and indignation. The café is well placed to soak up the atmosphere. Food simple, unpretentious, excellent ..... we made a memory. Be perpared to spend money in the market. Impossible to walk out empty-handed. It's irresistable. View all feedback.
