I live in England and went to visit Bete's restaurant on vacation. The island is beautiful and is very well looked after by Bete, a firm lady who keeps everything clean and organized! If you go with any type of food/drink, be prepared to spend a lot of money in the restaurant which for me is totally worth it. You cannot leave disposable cups, much less trash in sight. We took a day trip to the island. We came there hungry and we were really happy with the service and hospitality of the owners. The food is mostly fried: fried squids, shrips, french fries we slso had fish which came with shrimp sauce. Those were real shrimps, not just asian shrimp sause. Caipirinas were really good- strong and tedty, but rather small. Over all, we spent a nice day on the island! Food: 3 View all feedback.
