I have celiac, and have pretty severe reactions to even the slightest cross contact with gluten, so the wonderful staff at Cooper’s Hawk make me feel so comfortable and safe eating here. They have great practices to prevent cross-contact in their kitchen, and a gluten-free menu with plenty of variety. The bar is 5/5! Service and food at the bar were excellent! However, the restaurant was awful. It was our anniversary dinner. I called ahead and let the host know, when we checked in I reminded the host again. No one mentioned our anniversary. The food was ok. "Was looking forward to this place opening for a long time, and it's pretty much what I expected and hoped. The environment (inside or outside dining options is really nice; trendy but in a more-comfortable way. The service is terrific (props! and the kitchen is happily accommodating to changes or making existing meals vegan-friendly. Think a new routine for me will be stopping in here for a bite to eat before going to Whole Foods around the corner; might save me money on not shopping hungry, haha! This is the type of not-fully-vegan place I feel comfortable supporting."
