Everything was amazing from arrival at valet, seating, waiter, appetizers (honey old bay wings, white wine mussels) entree (blackened rockfish, ribeye) side (mashed potatoes). I don’t remember the names of the cocktail/mocktails we had, but both were great! We will surely return soon. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Choptank Annapolis:
The food and cocktails are great. It was incredibly loud. My friends and I were yelling and screaming just trying to talk to each other. Our ears were ringing when we got out. A decibel meter on my phone was averaging 93db with peaks of 108. Note this was during the winter season with all the doors and windows closed. View all feedback.
Quite pricy and not up to the price they ask. Service was disorganized. Food was just average and lacking the higher cuisine touch the price leads one to expect.
The food and view were outstanding. The only issue is that we felt a little rushed, though I understand that the faster we get out, the more money the servers make. There is a balance to be struck. Maybe there is a way to discuss as a matter of etiquette how long someone should expect to command a table in a busy—high end restaurant.
First time here we all had some of the salads that were on the menu. Plentiful and delicious. Lily our waitress was excellent. Explained all the goodies that were on the menu and the wine selection. It’s a quiet night in Annapolis on a Monday. Nice experience.
We had the most amazing time and meal and drinks and everything was perfect! Lydia, our server was smart and funny and took great care to ensure that our time at the Choptank was memorable! The mahi sandwich was perfectly grilled and the mac and cheese was AMAZING! The oyster selection was sweet, briny and all so fresh! This is a place that I can't wait to return to!
Great spot right on the water, food was amazing and the service was top-notch
