What NHjo likes about Bistro East:
A town citizen told me that this place was recently bought by a friend of his, so I figured I'd try it out. I had coffee, two poached eggs, bacon, beans, fried potato tots, and toast everything was great! The serving was ample enough to be my main meal of the day. There was a long wait to get the meal (close to an hour) and the servers did apologize for the wait but then the meal was disappointing. My husband had the steak and it was tough and he got tired of chewing it and left a portion of it even though it was quite expensive. Both our vegetables were undercooked. The carrots and potatoes were very crunchy. For the price of the main meals the food was not acceptable. read more.

Wonderful food (fresh made pasta and hand tossed pizza with real cheese not that rubber everybody else uses). Worth the trip, even in the off season.
