A friend and I wanted some authentic Mexican food.
From the words of Donald Trump, the portion sizes are "huuuuuuuuuge".
Talk about a hidden gem! I've lived in Trussville for several years but never been to this restaurant.

"We had a very friendly server. The children loved the Hush puppies and surprisingly the picked onions. The colleague was so good that I brought the left home. Our ducks were good, but we didn't care about the warm imitation meat that came on our plate. Sweet tea was perfect. Unfortunately, I didn't feel very comfortable when the other costumes stare at me. I look like a crispy mother with locals and felt sadly very judged by the other males, so I don't think we'll be back."

"My daughter and I came to Anniston to visit the Berman and natural history museums. We were hungry and this came up when I searched. We decided to chance it and were so glad that we did. She originally wanted pizza but after talking to Chelsea, our server, about the voodoo pasta, she decided to go with that instead. She said it was the best choice and was glad she tried something different. It had plenty of sauce with shrimp, sausage, and chicken. I got sweet tea (amazingly perfect, which is rare in a restaurant bc it's always a gamble and I'm picky) and a Caesar salad. The salad was a little peppery for my liking but the croutons were really delish. The menu said they were homemade. However, I would prob try the Greek or chef salad next time. Our server was phenomenal. She offered bread while we waited on our food. It was so good. We will definitely come back to try some other items!"

"The food here was good. As a group, we had the Rib dinner with fried okra and a side of brocolli cheese rice casserole. A cheeseburger and a BBQ plate (HUGE sandwich) and fries. We were not disappointed at all! Thank you to the friendly staff too. I would recommend this place for an at home feeling. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"I ordered baked spaghetti. They brought out ravioli, had to send it back.Service was ok. The last two times that we have went,something was wrong. One was a carry out. They didn't include my baked potato. When I called and asked for a manager, they said there wasn't one there and acted very strange about it."

"Seven of us have been flying. old 16-19 enjoyed the flesh and sides. two 40 years old loved the grilled caesar whan and pimento cheese burger! dessert mini croissants were amazing!. save space! it is worth the time to dare from the interstate! Cool/Country/Urban@ small town vibe."
